ABOUT THE GREAT WHITE AND FOSSILIZED GREAT WHITE TEETH
Carcharodon carcharias is the scientific name for the world-famous Great White. This magnificent predator is among the largest marine hunters in history — and, unfortunately, one of the most misunderstood. Modern Great Whites are found worldwide today after branching off from the Mako lineage approximately 4 million years ago, part of the fascinating evolutionary journey of ancient predatory species.

At megalodonteeth.com, we sell only authentic fossilized Great White teeth — never modern ones. Modern (non-fossilized, pure white) Great Whites are a protected species, and trade in their teeth is strictly prohibited. Our fossil Great White teeth for sale come from ancient specimens that lived millions of years ago, carefully sourced and legally obtained.
These fossilized Great White teeth come in all sizes (up to 3" long), colors, and conditions, found in places like Florida, South Carolina, and the deserts of Peru and Chile. Each one represents a genuine piece of prehistoric marine history — collected responsibly and backed by our authenticity guarantee.
VALUE AND COLLECTOR INSIGHT
The value of fossil Great White teeth depends on several factors — locality, size, condition, and rarity. Teeth over 2" are much rarer and command a premium, especially when found in perfect condition with razor-sharp serrations and complete enamel. Finding a flawless specimen after 2–3 million years is exceptionally rare.
Coloration also plays a big role. While most fossil Great White teeth are gray, some display vibrant hues unique to Peruvian deposits, increasing their collector appeal and investment value.
