Remarks - EXTREMELY RARE (we have only ever seen this one example from here), 8mm wide Fossil Clamydoselachus sp.- Extinct Frilled Shark tooth in matrix from Japan. This beautiful tooth is missing one cusp and sits in natural matrix that has been broken and glued. Chlamydoselachus teeth from any location are some of the rarest teeth in the fossil shark world as they were/are an extremely deep ocean species and there's not a lot of those deposits in existence. But this one from the Cretaceous AND Japan is just one of the great rarities we've ever offered.
