About the Megalodon and Its Fossil Teeth

Carcharocles megalodon was the largest marine predator to ever exist, dominating ancient oceans between 3.5 and 8 million years ago. Its ancestors — including Carcharocles chubutensis, angustidens, auriculatus, aksuaticus, and Otodus obliquus — trace back over 60 million years.
The Megalodon reached lengths up to 60 feet and weighed as much as 50 tons, dwarfing even today’s Great White. Its legacy lives on through these magnificent fossil Megalodon teeth, each a rare fragment of Earth’s ancient history.

For collectors, Megalodon teeth for sale vary greatly in size, preservation, and color. Larger teeth over 5 inches are exponentially rarer than smaller ones, and those with sharp serrations and flawless enamel are the most sought-after. Teeth with unique hues and exceptional preservation, such as this specimen, command premium value and respect among fossil enthusiasts worldwide.
