Megalodon : Hunting the Hunter
by Mark Renz
This book is new to our catalog. For everyone who has written us over the years asking why a book on the mighty Carcharocles megalodon hasn't been written I present this outstanding book. This book covers anything and everything about MEG and is written in a light-hearted (but still scientifically sound) style. Mark Renz consulted with most of the top experts in the field while researching this one and came up with a very thorough book covering all the essentials (where and how to find teeth, what they looked like, size, shape, diet, extinction, etc.). This book also contains a lot of great artwork and a ton of detailed photos (there is even a color section in the middle that shows some world-class fossil specimens). A lot of work by a lot of people went into this one and the quality shows!! This is an absolute MUST HAVE book for any MEG enthusiast or collector!!!

Fossil Shark Teeth of the World by Joe Cocke
Fossil Shark Teeth of the World
by Joe Cocke
This book is new to our catalog. Finally a very comprehensive shark tooth identification book that covers over 85 species and covers them correctly. I found very few mistakes of any kind in this book when it comes to ID, nicknames, ages, localities, etc.. Each identified species shows accompanying photos (several of each species showing different positions usually) and is written in plain English so it can be easily understood by amateurs. Plus it's small size will enable it to be well-utilized in the field unlike most ID books.

by Frank A. Kocsis, Jr.
***Back in stock***
Far and away the best and easiest-to-use book for identifying Miocene-Pleistocene vertebrate fossils (camel, elephant, sloth, horse, carnivore, etc.). This book will not waste your time with much writing - it is direct and to the point with GREAT photographs to clearly show various fossils. Very thorough and covers just about everything you’re likely to find. It's surprising that not many people out there have heard about this book because it is a MUST HAVE for Pleistocene collectors.

Riker Mount Display Cases
Display Cases
Riker Mounts are very attractive glass display cases made from black chipboard. The small one is perfect for displaying small or thin fossils (smaller shark teeth, etc.). The large one is extra deep (2") and can frame even the largest shark tooth, horse tooth, etc. These are very hard to find in this size. These are the same frames included with the purchase of a megalodon tooth.
