Rhinobatos maronita - Mid-Late Cretaceous - Appx 95-100 million years old - Another amazing fossil from the famous quarries in Lebanon. This is a large (full 1 foot long x 5 inches wide) fossil Guitarfish that is complete with absolutely no restoration or touch up paint to highlight. The matrix has been broken and repaired in a few spots which is really the only thing you can find wrong with this piece. Excellent detail of cartilage and vertebra (heck, everything on this one is detailed) and an excellent collector specimen at a fair price.
